The government have let down the most vulnerable in society during the latest lockdown with images of poor food provisions circulating widely in the media recently.
Matthews Yard and our supporters have stepped in to provide local families in the London Borough of Croydon with a healthy, balanced top-up food package to help you and your little ones get through lockdown.
These are free of charge for those that need them.

Request a food hamper
Due to overwhelming demand we have had to cap the number of hampers at 75 this week on a first come, first served basis. Due to limitations of fridge space, we have also had to remove refrigerated and frozen goods.
1. Our hampers are only available to families in the London Borough of Croydon that need them.
2. Hampers will be delivered on Thursday and Friday afternoon or early evening.
3. We will try to ensure all items requested are available, but may have to substitute some items.
Donate meals for children
Within minutes of publishing our pledge to provide 250 free meals for children that need them during the October half term, we had several requests from our supporters to provide contributions towards the costs, so quickly created this form so that we could ringfence donations to help fund more meals either during October half term, or in the next school holidays. Don’t feel obliged to donate, but you are more than welcome to do so.
